Where can I purchase plumeria plants?

Do you ship plumeria plants?

We do not ship plumeria plants at this time. All plant sales are in-person at our shows. Seeds, pots, and other items may be available for local pickup.

Do you offer local pickup or delivery?

Yes. Local pickup is available by appointment at our nursery in Denham Springs. Please call or text 337-238-8888 to schedule. We also offer local delivery within 50 miles of Denham Springs — contact us to arrange.

Why do you grow everything in air-pruning pots?

Air pots encourage strong, fibrous root systems instead of circling roots. This is especially valuable in the South, where we receive over 69 inches of rain annually. Better drainage and more oxygen around the roots help prevent rot and produce healthier plants that establish more successfully.

How long should I leave my plumeria in the air pot?

We recommend leaving it in the air pot for the first 12–24 months. This gives the root system time to develop properly before moving up to a larger container or the landscape.

How often should I water my plumeria?

Do not overwater. Allow the soil to dry down significantly between waterings. In our humid, rainy climate this is the single most important rule. When in doubt, wait another day. Check the weight of the pot or stick your finger into the soil before watering.

What kind of soil do you recommend?

A fast-draining mix is essential. We use a blend that includes soil, perlite, and organic matter that works well with air pots. Avoid heavy mixes that stay wet.

How much sun do plumerias need?

Plumerias bloom best with full sun — ideally 6 or more hours of direct sunlight. In the intense Southern summer heat, young plants often appreciate some afternoon shade.

Why is it important to keep the plant tag?

Always keep the original tag or write the name down immediately. A plumeria without a name is called a NOID (No Identification). Named varieties have known flower color, fragrance, size, and growth habit — information that is easy to lose and hard to recover.
