Herzog Joy
Herzog Joy (also known simply as Joy) is a 1997 seedling from the respected Carl and Joy Herzog breeding program, named in honor of Joy Herzog herself. It produces 3- to 4-inch blooms in a soft light pink with gentle pink striping and a bright yellow center. In higher temperatures the pink deepens attractively, and the flowers gradually fade toward white as they age. The petals are elliptical with pointed tips and moderate overlapping.
It is especially valued for its very strong, sweet floral fragrance and good bloom production, often forming medium to large flower heads. The blooms have excellent keeping quality. The plant is relatively easy to root and grow, sets seed, and is considered one of the stronger performers from the Herzog line. Collectors appreciate both its cheerful coloring and its standout scent. Many have nicknamed her Fragrance Queen.

Rooted plumerias are grown organically here in south Louisiana, potted in air pruning pots, and ready for their new homes. We recommend leaving them in their current pots for at least 1–2 years for best results.
