Plumeria Description
CA Sally aka Bud's Sally
CA Sally is a standout variety with large, impressive 5 to 5½-inch blooms (occasionally reaching over 6 inches). The flowers open as a soft creamy pink with a broad golden-yellow center, accented by a moderate pink band along the outer edge of the petals and a darker pink band on the reverse. As the blooms age, the pink softens and fades toward white, creating a lovely lighter effect while the golden center remains glowing.
What many growers remember most is the distinctive spicy salsa-like fragrance — a bold, savory scent with onion undertones that is quite different from the typical sweet or floral plumeria perfumes. It is a prolific bloomer that produces large, long-lasting clusters and is known for thick branching and vigorous growth.
Originally obtained by Bud Guillot around 1970 and later registered as California Sally (PSA #207), this variety has also been circulated under the names Bud’s Sally, Belle Vista, and Jameson’s. A true classic with both size and personality.

Availability
Rooted plumerias are grown organically here in south Louisiana, potted in air pruning pots, and ready for their new homes. We recommend leaving them in their current pots for at least 1–2 years for best results.
