JL Tropical Storm
JL Tropical Storm is a colorful introduction from Jim Little Plumeria Farms on Oahu, Hawaii, released around 1994 alongside other storm-themed varieties such as Hurricane and Rim Fire. The flowers measure about 3 to 3½ inches across and display a vibrant tropical mix of pink, red, orange, and yellow, often described as a true rainbow bloom with an intense orange center.
The petals are slightly overlapping and can develop a crinkled or wavy texture, with the edges sometimes ruffling in the heat. It carries a pleasant mild-to-nice sweet fragrance and has good substance. The tree itself grows with an upright habit.
This variety delivers the bold, multi-colored impact that collectors expect from Jim Little’s hybrids and remains a strong choice for anyone who loves dramatic rainbow plumerias with proven Hawaiian breeding.

Availability
Rooted plumerias are grown organically here in south Louisiana, potted in air pruning pots, and ready for their new homes. We recommend leaving them in their current pots for at least 1–2 years for best results.
