Plumeria Description
Princess Maderia
Bangkok Fire (also known as Daeng Maha Choke, Orange Hybrid, or P-33) is a striking Thai variety that produces intense 3-inch glowing orange-red blooms with darker red veining radiating from the base. When the flowers first open they often show a bright golden-orange “flame” effect in the center before deepening. As the blooms age they shift toward purplish tones and eventually fade to soft mauve, white, and light golden-tan, giving clusters a multi-toned appearance.
It is noted for a very strong, unique, and pleasant fragrance—sweet with a distinctive lemon-nutmeg character. The petals have good substance and the plant forms full flower heads that open successively. Growth habit is a sturdy medium tree.
This variety is offered as a grafted plant, which helps ensure stronger establishment and reliable performance. A dramatic, high-impact choice for collectors who love fiery orange-red color combined with an unusual and memorable scent.
