Named by Jim Little in honor of his wife, Doric, this variety holds a special place in his collection and is widely regarded as one of his personal favorites. For collectors of Jim Little hybrids, it is considered a must-have.
The 3-inch flowers display a unique ribbon-like layering of color. Soft orange veins run through the petals, blending into yellow and pink tones that give the blooms a warm, slightly rustic appearance. The overall effect is refined yet distinctive, unlike more typical rainbow or solid-colored varieties.
Fragrance is a classic frangipani with a light Singapore-like note—mild and pleasant. The plant grows at a medium rate with compact to sub-compact tendencies and carries light green, semi-glossy foliage. As a cross between deciduous and evergreen types, it offers good structure and reliable blooming performance.
