Plumeria Description
Purple Jade Dragon
A distinctive Thai variety known for its rich, changing color display. It produces large, full clusters of 2–3 inch blooms. The petals are rounded and overlap nicely, opening with a golden-yellow center that transitions into red-to-purple edges. Fine red veining radiates outward from the center, adding depth and detail to each flower.
Buds are especially striking—deep red to nearly black before they open. Color expression shifts with temperature and light: in some conditions the purple edge becomes dominant, while in others the red intensifies and can take on subtle blueish tones.
Fragrance is a medium-sweet honey with a light wild-strawberry note. Growth is slow, which helps the plant maintain a more controlled form over time. This variety is offered as a grafted plant, which helps ensure stronger establishment and reliable performance.
